I lifted the bonnet today (dunno why; it's a mystery to me under there

) and I noticed at the front lip of the lid that there are 2 rubbery plastic stoppers. One of them was coming detached, and I noticed it was not symmetrically placed with the other one.
Are they fitted at the last step of assembly to ensure a good fit for the bonnet?
The adjustable stops are still there on the inner wing (fender) pointing upwards, so is this an addition on new models to resolve complaints about wobbly bonnets?
I moved the loose one to the corresponding place as the non wobbly one, but have I messed things up?
