This is my new XF in Cashmere Gold. I selected this colour from Jaguar
website as there were none produced at the time to check out physically.

I suspect my PC graphics card is not accurate as the car in the flesh is
completely different than expected but still nice.

Gold is not a colour I have seen close up yet, I can only remember seeing one before and that was passing on the other side of the road at speed.

I quite liked the winter gold, in fact it was a toss up between that and my radiance red, and there is one near me it looks nice, have to say that cashmere gold looks more like grey than gold, maybe its just the picture.
3.0D S Portfolio in Spectrum Blue with warm charcoal and figured ebony trim, rear camera, front sensors, blind spot monitor, Splash Guards, chrome side vents. Now also Tracker Horizon, Jewel Ultra Paint Protection, and Ventureshield (Was 2.7 PL in Radiance Red with xenons)

Yes to me the pic also looks more grey than gold. Do you have some more pics you could share?

We have just received our first Cashmere Gold car not too long ago, and its very, very nice. I didnt like Winter Gold at all. It just seemed to have too much of an old timer from Florida feel to it. Cashmere looks nothing like it though, and I'm defiantly a fan.

Anyway, congrats on the awesome car!

I've just joined up today as I've ordered an XF for Jan delivery and have been agonising over which colour to order! I went for Cashmere Gold.

I did some web research to find some images and found some in the USA (nothing in the UK) where it's been available for a while. I also saw a paint swatch in the dealer and it was very similar to Vapour Grey, but with a gold hue rather than the bronze hue of the Vapour Grey.

Best described as grey/silver with a hint of gold (in bright sunlight).

The last image is what the Jaguar website configurator shows for Cashmere Gold. Please tell me their car design is better than their web design!

Thats not a very good match to the web image I must admit, I always try to see the colour I am buying in the "metal" for just that reason.

Even so, its a very nice colour

Many thanks to Millicent Jag for posting the image of what pretends to be Cashmere Gold on Jaguar Website
I was beginning to think it was my PC graphics that was wrong.

As alresday reported I actually ordered mine in September using this image in absence of seeing one in the
metal as they had not yet produced amy Cashmeres.

Have expressed my concerns with Jaguar over this misleading image and they advised that the diffrential in
colour is down to individuals perception and assured me that I will come to like it eventually.

What happens if you don't ? Personally I think that is a bit dodgy, if you don't like it initially it will be a downer every time you look at the car for as long as you have it. I found this to be true with a sales team, if someone didn't like his company car it demotivated him every single day he got in it, on the other hand some one getting the car he really really wanted was motivated for about 4 months, then it ceased to be a motivator.

Amen to that Merceybill it is still causing me grief to look at it. Compamy and dealer have both hit me with the standard no blame / no claim disclaimer get out.
Customer svcs have suggested that colour is down to personal percepion. It is still an excellent motor just the wrong colour

It is now official straight from the Executive Office in Gaydon that "there is no difference in the Cashmere Metallic shown on the website and the actual car"

Looks like it depends what light you are in as to what colour it looks like
