I was given a pair of 'Jaguar' BRG caps when I brought the car (my daughter thinks they look 'gay'). Ho-hum.

Birchgrove
We've been lucky in the UK, partly because dealers here have a closer relationship with Jaguar (most of the staff frequently go to Jaguar events), and partly because, thanks to Jon's and Andy's organisational skills we've had two excellent free days out topped off with goody bags.

I've been impressed by Jaguar Customer Relations dept (thanks Helen Cripps) and their persistence in resolving any issues I've raised.
At GDO1 the "suits" were pleased to welcome us, and said they looked forward to feedback, particularly from this XFFORUM.

Maybe a persuasive email to Jag UK telling them that the Aussies and the rest are feeling a bit isolated?

If their database is up to scratch I would imagine that overseas customers could be rewarded with a few pens, hats and cuddly toys?
Jon has proved that a persistent charm works wonders. Just mention the forum and promise health, wealth and happiness if they could see their way clear to send you a couple of goodies. - Don't ask; don't get?
3.0 Premium Luxury Stratus Grey, Warm Charcoal interior with Burr Walnut, Front parking sensors with rear camera, Heated steering wheel, Adamesh lower grilles, splashguards, and several layers of Autoglym Super Resin Polish and Extra Gloss Protection!

Neither did I, but after complaining about that and the quality of the hand over, I was given my first service free :D

So it shows it can pay to complain

I didn't get anything either. But then since I have never received a gift when buying a new car, I wasn't expecting one this time.
In fact, until reading this thread, I wasn't aware such a practice existed. Now I feel hard done by!

Andy, was your dealer the one just up the road from you?
3.0D Luxury, indigo, dove, burr walnut, parking pack, mats, splash guards.

I was not expecting a "Gift" from my dealer either (Jaguar Laval). When I picked up the car, the dealer put a chrome "Portfolio" badge on the rear "Boot". I was really pleased with that, and with the customary Jaguar key holder. Then he really flored me when he gave me a 700$ gift certificate for a proffessional photographer. WoW. Now I don't know if i didn't pay a little too much for the car. I had checked around and I was in the ball park price wise. Regardless, its a very nice gesture because they could have pocketed the $$$. Looks like I will have to get a Jaguar prop to include in the foto shoot. Wonder if I can drive the XF into his photo studio???
2010-1/2 XF Premium Portfolio, Ultimate Black, Spice Interior, Fingerd Ebony, Winter package, 19" Arturo wheels as standard, Side Chrome Grill, additional power point in the front & rear center console, re-designed Fuel Flap, Portfolio badge.
